Actual Physical Laptops
Distributed Worldwide
4–8 physical cores and 8–12 execution threads with pinned hardware affinity. Real bare-metal silicon matching developer workstations across Africa.
Physical room ambient temperatures measuring realistic fan curve latency and clock decay, with a -10 point penalty guard if thermal throttling occurs.
Enforced via Linux bwrap (Bubblewrap) network unshare namespaces on Ubuntu. All inbound connections and outbound DNS/TCP packets are blocked.
The 5-Stage Evaluation Cycle
Lease Claim
Laptop daemon polls control plane, claims pending submission with a single-use token.
30-min LeaseCompliance Check
Server recalculates physical CPU/RAM inventory hash. Deviation halts execution.
Hash VerifiedAir-Gapped Setup
Workspace cloned, verified model materialized from cache, network interfaces blocked.
Zero EgressProfiler Instrumentation
Physical llama-bench and non-deterministic domain prompt distributions measure stochastic TPS, p50/p95 TTFT, RSS churn, and thermal decay.
80s TimeoutAudit Signoff
Report SHA-256 hashed, uploaded create-only to Cloud Storage, and score finalized.
Immutable ArtifactThe Canonical Scoring Formula
Every physical evaluation applies the exact, verifiable formula restored from the foundation's official protocol:
Evaluates tokens per second on raw generation prompts. Maximum contribution reached at 15.0 tokens/second.
Rewards minimal RAM footprints under the 7 GB ceiling. Smaller steady-state sizes yield higher points.
Deducts 10 points if the physical laptop triggers CPU thermal throttling or core temps exceed 85°C.
Host a Physical Laptop Node
Have an 11th–12th Gen Intel Core i5 laptop with 8 GB RAM? Check your hardware specifications, review how our automated deviation engine audits machines, and apply to host a node in the distributed fleet.
- Step 1
Apply
Tell us about your laptop. We check it against the standard hardware profile.
- Step 2
Get approved
An administrator reviews your application and approves suitable machines.
- Step 3
Enroll
Once approved, sign in and open the Host page for your private setup steps and enrollment command.
